Procrastination Meme

What is the rez date for your current SL Avatar that you use most often?

Where was the first place you made friends as a newb and got to know people in Second Life?
I can't remember the name of that place. It was some kind of tribal-looking hub for noobs to hang out at. A guy named Adler picked me up and took me to a freebie shop at Velvet Manor. He got bored waiting for me to learn how to buy stuff and took off. I think I took a few hours figuring that out, as it never struck him that he could teach me how and it never struck me that I should ask him to teach me how.
Later on I did some research and went to hang out at NCI in Kuula, where I really started meeting people.

Where do you spend most of your SL time now?
In either of my 2 skyboxes, one in my bloodlines home at Eturnal Night where I play dress-up, the other in Samia where I build and work on my business.

Who is your closest friend in Second Life? (only pick one)
This is a painful one, my first best friend in SL left without a word last year. Karen, if you are reading this, I miss you very much and want to talk to you again.
There is also Eve Paradiso and Sashia Rae, and I don't really want to choose between these 3.

What is the most favorite thing in your inventory? (only pick one)
Only one?! I.can't.pick.only.one.

The last thing you purchased in Second Life?
Glam Affair skins from the Gatcha Arcade.

What color clothing does your avatar wear most often?
I can't stick to any colour, not SL, not RL. :)
Favourite colour is white though.

Do you prefer to walk, run or fly?
Crash, usually while trying to fly.

What is the craziest thing you've ever done in SL?
Probably fighting my first bloodlines war.
There was a cry that my clan was under invasion, I answered without thinking, I tped to the arena, I fought without any training, I didn't even know how to operate my HUD properly, I killed people, people killed me twice as much, and my army lost despite outnumbering the invaders.
(I learned post-war that I broke some moral ethics of war conduct, so I IMed the guy I killed the most to apologise, you know, in case he took his game seriously. He was quite nice about it and offered to help train me. He turned out to be a rather good teacher and gave me a lot of good tips but I think I was a disappointment to him. I can only let people slaughter me so many times before I grow bored.)

Who would you like to play YOU, in the movie of your SLife?
It's up for audition, but I doubt anyone wants to take me on. Do you?

My Seven SL facts

After not blogging for almost 3 months, I decided to jump on the meme wagon started by Strawberry Singh.

I've not had much to say since things are well and boring, and I am planning my phase-out from SL. Will update about this soon. I am excited. Blabbering.



So, 7 SL facts about me in no particular order:

1. I am a... virgin. Yes, it is hard to say this outright with a straight face because pixel virginity is such an important issue. *coughs* But it's not a surprise by now, I guess, that I have ZERO interest in changing my SLexual status.

2. I am a little anti-social in SL (probably RL too), and I use my RL timezone shamelessly as an excuse to isolate myself. I do come out of my shell in a blue moon though, and there are a handful of friends in SL whom I will always chat with.

3. I had secret crushes on two guys in SL. I enjoyed admiring them from afar but never wanted to pursue them.

4. Tashi is my RL name, albeit not my legal name.

5. I am not sure if Tashi Core is my first AV. I remember registering a Tashi Wind many years back, likely in 2003 when SL first started and I was a fresh graduate. But I did not catch on to the SLife then and I can't remember what happened to Wind, or if she really happened at all.

6. I am embarassed about how many alts I have. Not telling. :X

7. I don't see SL as a separate life from RL. SL is a channel to express a side of my personality that is stymied in RL, that's all. It is all part of who I am in a fuller circle.

It's Reflection Month again.

This month marks my 3rd RL birthday and Christmas in SL. Time flies.

December is a special month for Karen and I. It is both our birthdays, Christmas and her rezzday. But this month, Karen is not in SL for personal reasons. Apart from missing her, I cannot help feeling that this is it. My little escapade in SL is sort of over. It is time to start wrapping up.

I'm not sure if it is time yet to disclose my little secret on this blog. There are lots of emotions coursing through me now, because that time is nearing for my long-awaited plans to start happening. It involves a dramatic change in my RL, and leaving SL for a while. It is going to be the best thing that I will achieve in my life so far, but I am looking at the good things going on right now that I have to let go of and feeling a little sad. And worried.

I am at a loss for the right words. The truth is that words can't describe how I really feel. Maybe if they could, I wouldn't feel the need to talk at all.

It's not difficult to put 2 and 2 together.

This post is very brief and late because I have been RL busy. What's new?

Busy includes a 3-day-2-night holiday to Phuket Thailand, which I didn't tell anyone in SL about because I came back before anyone noticed I was missing. That's about how interactive I am in SL these days. On a side note, I ran off with plans to indulge in food and a spa, but I ended up indulging in... shopping. I am surprised at how much there is to buy in Phuket, which is not exactly a good thing for my pocket. And the food is no longer as good as they used to be. :(

SL is pretty much the same, other than this LOSER who used a female alt to try to get horny with me (and a female friend and possibly a few others), as if a female AV can attract a straight woman when a male AV can't. I won't go into detail since I'll like him to keep guessing at how he got sussed out. You know dude, there is a thing called IP address, and some SIMs that you TP to are actually capable of getting yours? Keep it up dude, deny it all. How anonymous are you really? *ahem*

I am secretly hoping he gets an anxiety fit, because stupid things do catch up one day. And I do love talking in riddles.
