Closing for the Year

It has not sunk in yet that in 2 days' time, I'll be hitting my 30th year-old. I am as much a kid as ever in some ways, but as old as mountains in others.

Going 30 doesn't freak me out as much as the big boss requesting to meet me without giving a clue what it is about. :(

I am feeling cold all over now. *shivers*

It's the weather.

And the horoscope prediction that I'll have bad luck in every aspect of my life for the year 2011 because the rabbit totally hates the rooster. Hmmm, I think I shall go look for some pet chickens and see what bunny thinks.

Home Makeover (sort of) Fail

You are very welcome to admire my terrible job at trying to help Karen turn our home into an indoor garden.

It's so... green. And mossy. Smacked right in the middle of winter. And I ruined her textures.

Of course, this sort of thing only happens after Karen goes to sleep. By the time she woke up, I had taken back half the mess. I swear I don't exist for the purpose of turning her SL home into a nightmare.

Oh, and my new pet turtle says hi. :D

Feeling Tired

December is always a reflective month for me. It has to do with being my birthday month and the end of yet another year. I am usually even quieter and more withdrawn in this month than any other.

My thoughts for this year include reminiscing an innocence that had once led me to dream big dreams and believe that I could hold the world with my hands. That was me about a decade ago. :/

There is something about growing older that makes one realise how fragile life really is. And then our priorities will change. I don't regret waking up, but it was really sweet to be able to bask in my own illusions for a few doodling years. :p

Nothing to do with SL again...

Sorry, I have run out of material. I was busy fretting over RL stuff and didn't take much notice of SL.

Anyways, my best bud R came back from Taiwan, brought me a gigantic green rock-hard Taiwanese-styled nougat and insisted that it was really soft. (No, I didn't already know that she must have really hard teeth.) I bashed it against another gigantic weird-looking nougat which looked like it was made from rice.

Neither of them broke.

I returned the rice-looking nougat to her and kept mine. I have no idea what to do with it.

Makeover (sort of) Fail

I've been toying with the idea of a vampire child for a while now. I finally found time to make myself a new shape last night.

It's pretty, but I was so used to being a tall and glam-glam AV that I kinda freaked out to see myself looking small and teenage.

Uh, thanks but no thanks. I am going back to the old shape.

Preparing for Christmas

This will be my first Christmas in SL. :D

So Karen bought me a freaking expensive tree.


As you can sort of see, my home is being decorated for the season. But I have discovered that I don't really know much about Christmas decorating except for putting up a dozen triangle trees and messing up everywhere else. Though there was an isolated episode of geniusinspiration with the snowmen.

I need Karen's help.
